Peek In The Studio – Winter Songbirds

Chickadees in Snow Work in Progress, Watercolor, Rebecca Latham

It seems fitting to post these two new pieces just as Minnesota had its first snowfall of the season.  These Winter paintings, a trio of chickadees and a male cardinal in snow, are both 10in x 10in and should be completed soon.  I chose the spruce boughs, used for both paintings, from several trees I grew up climbing when I was little.
