Just coming back from a Spring trip to Yellowstone, I couldn’t resist starting a few new pieces from what I saw during the trek.. (I was in such a rush to paint them, I didn’t get snapshots of all of the underpaintings but I hope to have the final works to post soon!)  Needless to say, the change of scenery was definitely inspiring to my work even if only for a few days.  I am looking forward to spending more time there and in Grant Teton National Park later this Fall as well during the Jackson Fall Arts Festival.

These are a selection of some of the paintings getting going.. The Eagle is tentatively planned to be one of my works for the Outer Banks Squared exhibition coming up in July at Seaside Art Gallery in North Carolina.
