Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit.

I’ve had a busy Fall so far – 25 new paintings finished for galleries and exhibitions and more research for new works in the next few months now that the weather is cooling and the trees are beginning to turn in some spots. I’m writing this from Jackson, Wy, where the Fall Arts Festival is in full swing and wildlife is on the move. More on that later..
This is one of my newer works in graphite of a young Bobcat. It’s been donated to the Carpenter Nature Canter for their Silent Auction at the Autumn in the Valley Gala Fundraiser that will be happening this Sunday (Sept 9th). They offer amazing programs and events for our region of Minnesota and Wisconsin, it is such a pleasure to support them! If you are interested in this event, please contact them. http://carpenternaturecenter.org
