I’m delighted to share a new piece that is especially close to my heart: Radiant Serenity – Trumpeter Swan. This painting was inspired by those peaceful mornings I’ve spent at the water’s edge, quietly watching trumpeter swans glide across the surface, their movements so graceful and unhurried. There’s something magical about the way the early sunlight seems to dance across their feathers, giving them a soft, luminous glow that feels almost otherworldly. I wanted to capture not just their elegant beauty, but also that feeling of calm and gentle strength that swans seem to embody so effortlessly.

As I worked on this painting, I found myself reflecting on the restorative power of nature’s quiet moments. The world can feel so busy and overwhelming at times, but there’s a special kind of peace that comes from pausing to observe wildlife in their element. My hope is that Radiant Serenity offers viewers a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with that sense of tranquility and harmony that nature so generously provides.

I’m also thrilled to announce that Radiant Serenity – Trumpeter Swan has been selected for the 19th International Guild of Realism exhibition, which will be opening at the Sugarman Peterson Gallery in Santa Fe, NM, from June 6th through the 30th, 2025. It’s a true honor to have my work included alongside so many talented realist artists from around the world.
