I’m happy to share that two of my watercolor paintings, Berry Whispers – Chickadee and Robin’s Solitude, will be part of the 2025 Green Mountain Watercolor Exhibition at the Red Barn Galleries at Lareau Farm and Forest in Waitsfield, Vermont. The show runs from June 15 through July 20, with an opening reception on June 15 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Watercolor has always felt like the perfect medium for me to capture the delicate, fleeting moments in nature. With Berry Whispers – Chickadee, I wanted to portray the gentle presence of a chickadee nestled among bright, ripe berries—a quiet moment full of life and subtle energy. The softness of the bird against the vibrant colors felt like a small celebration of nature’s quiet beauty.

Robin’s Solitude reflects a different kind of stillness—the peaceful pause of a robin in its natural surroundings. I aimed to convey that sense of calm and reflection, inviting the viewer to slow down and share in that moment of quiet grace.

Both paintings are about those little moments in nature that often go unnoticed but hold so much meaning. I hope they inspire you to look a little closer at the world around you and find your own moments of wonder.
